Pale Pink Ruffle Skirts x3

A new pale pink ruffle skirt for me.

Plus one for the baby girl.

Plus another for the big girl.

Equals a set of three matching skirts.

For three happy girls to wear to church.

Ruffle fabric purchased from rufflefabric.com in the color blush.

    • Oh yes! I had meant to get specifics up, but forgot. To make the skirts I cut a piece of elastic to fit the waist measurement and then stitched the ends together (covering the end with a zig zap stitch) to form the waist band. For the body of the skirt, cut a piece of ruffle fabric 1.5 times the waist measurement and to your desired length. (My skirts hit just about the knee.) Stitch up the short ends of the ruffle fabric to form a tube. Then do a nice long gathering stitch across the top and pull the ends of th thread until your skirt body is the same size as you waistband. Stitch the waistband to the skirt top and voila a cute ruffly skirt!

If you need more info, let me know and maybe I’ll put a tutorial with some pictures up.

      Thanks!
